Author Guidelines

The Medico & Engineering Future Journal (MEFJ) welcomes high-quality manuscripts that contribute to advancements in biomedical engineering, medical sciences, and interdisciplinary technologies. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below before submission.

1. Types of Manuscripts

• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles (Systematic and Narrative)
• Case Reports
• Technical Notes
• Short Communications

2. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be written in clear English, using a standard scientific format including: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

3. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should be structured and not exceed 250–300 words. Authors must provide 4–6 relevant keywords to improve indexing and discoverability.

4. Formatting Requirements

• Font: Times New Roman or Arial
• Font Size: 11–12 pt
• Line Spacing: 1.5
• Page Layout: A4 format

5. Figures and Tables

All figures and tables must be high resolution, properly labeled, and cited within the text. Avoid duplication of data in both figures and tables.

6. References

References should follow Vancouver or APA style. Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness of citations.

7. Ethical Considerations

All submitted manuscripts must comply with ethical standards. Studies involving human or animal subjects must include appropriate ethical approval.

8. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions are screened for plagiarism using advanced detection tools. Manuscripts with significant overlap will be rejected immediately.

9. Peer Review Process

MEFJ follows a double-blind peer review process. Authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation.

10. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the official submission system of the journal. Ensure all required files (manuscript, figures, cover letter) are included.

11. Publication Ethics

Authors must avoid duplicate submission, data fabrication, and conflicts of interest must be clearly declared.

12. Copyright and Licensing

Accepted articles are published under an open-access license allowing free distribution and reuse with proper citation.
