Biomedical Engineering Section

This section focuses on cutting-edge research in biomedical engineering, fostering innovation in medical devices, wearable technologies, AI-powered diagnostics, biosignal processing, and patient-centered healthcare systems. We welcome interdisciplinary articles combining engineering with clinical sciences. Biomedical Engineering and Research is a multidisciplinary open access journal that publishes research papers focused on the application of engineering principles to biological systems, including the design of artificial organs, biomedical imaging, biomedical materials, biomedical electronics, biomechanics, bionics, biophotonics, biosensors, cardiovascular implants, clinical engineering, computational modeling, health monitoring equipment, medical implants, medical imaging, prosthesis & orthotics, synthetic biology, and tissue engineering.

Section Policy:

This section focuses on pioneering research at the intersection of engineering, biology, and clinical sciences. It aims to foster innovation in the development of advanced medical technologies, emphasizing the translation of engineering principles into real-world healthcare solutions.

Submissions are welcomed across a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Bioelectrics: Biosignal processing (EEG, ECG, EMG), AI-powered diagnostics, and smart sensing systems.
  • Biomechanics: Motion analysis, orthopedic implants, prosthetics, and physiological modeling.
  • Biomaterials: Drug delivery systems, regenerative scaffolds, biocompatible materials, and tissue engineering.
  • Bioresonance & Biomedical Physics: Non-invasive stimulation, biofield devices, and resonance-based therapies.
